what is the propelher pitch competition?

Scenes from the 2017 PropelHER Pitch Competition.

A NAWBO Orlando annual event, the PropelHER Pitch Competition is an exciting opportunity for women business owners to showcase their businesses or business concepts to compete for cash prizes and in-kind services. We invite Florida women business owners from all disciplines to participate in NAWBO Orlando’s PropelHER Pitch Competition to see if they have a winning pitch!

Start by attending our series of four invaluable webinars, open to all women-owned businesses. These webinars are free to attend and will give you tips and insights to help you prepare your winning pitch. Mark you calendars for 6 p.m. on Nov. 10, Nov. 17, Dec. 1, and Dec. 8. Webinar topics and details will be announced soon.

Then prepare and submit your winning pitch by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2019. All submissions will be judged by an esteemed panel and six finalists (three emerging businesses, three established businesses) will be chosen and announced in late January, 2020.  Finalists will receive a one-on-one pitch coaching session in preparation for the main event — an awards breakfast when all finalists take the main stage at Full Sail University to pitch and showcase their business or business concept to a panel of judges.

WHY ENTER?

Just participating in the webinars helped me drill down in every aspect of my business and focus on what matters most. I was able to modify my pitch throughout the year to sell my services to other companies.
— Demetria Sloan, Founder & President, Vantage Point Coaching, LLC
