Our theme will be “Roaring Twenties!” Win a prize for the best costume; however theme-inspired attire is not necessary to attend.

Why the Roaring Twenties? In 1923, the Equal Rights Amendment (aka the ERA) was introduced in Congress to give women all the other rights in the Constitution, such as property, employment, and education. Although it took over 50 years for these laws to be ratified, the resilience of women is apparent.
