Human Trafficking is prevalent in Central Florida - a big travel destination - and it poses a risk to local businesses as well as individuals. If you know what to look for, you can be a better corporate citizen by watching your customers, employees and guests for potential red flags.  The more you know, the better you'll be able to avoid risks and report issues.

We will hear from the Founder & CEO of Florida Abolitionists, Tomas Lares, and a panel of experts, on how you can protect your business through awareness, education, and advocacy, and how we can make a difference together.

The panel will explore these hot topics:

  • Protecting your business against human trafficking

  • Understanding the human trafficking issues in Central Florida

  • Creating healthy communities that are not vulnerable to the recruiting tactics of the traffickers.

  • Making an impact through awareness, education, and legislation on human trafficking in Florida.

About the Speaker
